Overview

St. Mark's Preschool is the preschool division of a Preschool–8th grade Christian school in Hacienda Heights. The program serves children ages two through five and includes a Junior Kindergarten option. The preschool facility includes three age-appropriate playgrounds and an overall capacity of up to 138 children.

3-Year-Old Program

Classes of approximately 12 students with one teacher; available three days (M-W-F) or five days per week with half-day and full-day options. Instruction focuses on social and motor skills, expanding numbers, colors, shapes, name recognition, early letters and phonics, and a pre-K reading program.

Junior Kindergarten Program

A five-days-per-week class designed for students who miss the kindergarten cutoff; the class (approximately 18 students) is staffed by one teacher and one teaching assistant and focuses on sight words, phonics, language development, and kindergarten-level reading and math readiness.

Five days per week, 8:30 A.M.–3:00 P.M.; extended childcare available.

Pre-K (4-Year-Old Program)

Pre-K classes of approximately 12 students with one teacher; available three days (M-W-F) or five days per week in half-day and full-day formats. The program expands literacy and math foundations (letters, phonics, word recognition, kindergarten reading and math preparation) as well as social skills and independence.
