T.E.S.D.#3 - Meyer Montessori

Overview

Meyer Montessori is a public Montessori campus within Tempe Elementary School District No. 3 that serves preschool-aged children and elementary students through fifth grade. The school combines Montessori classroom practices with the district’s K–5 elementary program.

Approach & family engagement

The school follows Montessori instructional methods in its classrooms and requires family participation as part of its community model. Families are expected to contribute parent service hours each year.

Programs & out-of-school care

Preschool: Montessori-format preschool program for children ages 3–6.
Elementary: Classroom program serving students through fifth grade, using Montessori principles in student learning.
Before- and after-school care: The City of Tempe Kid Zone operates programs at Meyer that serve preschool and elementary students.

Meals & menus

Nutrition Services provides school meal programs and publishes site-specific menus, including a Meyer Montessori Children’s House menu.
