Overview

The Ivy Academy (Elgin) is a nonprofit child development center that serves infants through school-age children. Programs at the Elgin site cover ages from 6 weeks up to 12 years and include early education, before- and after-school care, and seasonal camps.

Approach & curriculum

Instruction is organised around play-based and developmentally appropriate activities that address intellectual, social and emotional growth. Classroom experiences emphasise creativity, school readiness and hands-on learning, with staff working collaboratively with families to support each child.

Parents are asked to provide standard enrollment information and to grant permission for walking trips, special excursions and transport in facility vehicles when applicable.
