The Learning Experience

Overview

The Learning Experience in St. Charles is an early childhood center serving children from infancy through the start of school. Classrooms are organised by age to provide developmentally appropriate daily routines and activities.

Programs

Infant Daycare — 6 Weeks to 12 Months. A classroom for babies focused on early sensory and cognitive experiences in a caregiver‑led setting.
Toddler Programs — 1 to 2 Years. Activities emphasise language and motor‑skill development through guided exploration.
Twaddler Programs — 2 to 2 1/2 Years. Programming supports emerging independence and social skills through purposeful play.
Early Preschool (Preppers) — 2 1/2 to 3 Years. Hands‑on projects and cooperative play introduce school routines and self‑help skills.
Pre‑K, 4‑K, and Preschool — 3 to 5 Years. Classroom experiences prepare children for kindergarten through age‑appropriate academic and social lessons.
Kindergarten Readiness — 5+ Years. Older children follow an advanced readiness program that focuses on literacy, math, and social‑emotional skills.

Approach, Curriculum & Family Communication

Instruction uses a character‑based L.E.A.P.® curriculum that combines language and literacy, enrichment (music, art, STEM), foundational academics and physical development. The center provides routine communications to families, including daily reports and photo updates via a secure parent app.
