Overview

The Little Scholars Club Early Learning Center provides early childhood education for young children in twos and preschool years. The program emphasizes hands-on, project-based learning and incorporates Spanish into daily activities.

Approach and curriculum

Instruction combines project work with social‑emotional learning and Positive Discipline principles to support communication, self‑help and social skills. Classrooms use real‑world topics to encourage investigation and higher‑order thinking.

Programs and daily routine

Twos Program (2 - 3 years): Small- and large-group, multi-sensory experiences designed to develop communication, self-help and self-regulation; space for building, creating and exploring.
Pre-kindergarten (3 - 5 years): Classroom activities that promote investigation, deep thinking and school‑readiness through project work and community-focused topics.

Daily routines include circle time, center time, small-group instruction, experience/investigation time, outdoor and large-motor play, meal times with meals prepared using fresh fruits and vegetables, and a two-hour rest/nap period.

Enrollment and family communication

Enrollment includes a play visit and a virtual onboarding meeting. Families receive updates, photos and direct teacher communication through the Lillio parent app. The program accepts CCAP for eligible families.
