Overview

SARRC’s Community School provides early childhood education in blended classroom settings that include both children without autism and children who receive ABA-based instruction. Classrooms are organized to support kindergarten readiness and promote social, emotional, and academic development for all students.

Approach and curriculum

The program uses ABA-informed, play-based instruction with individualized learning plans for each child. Classrooms emphasize social interaction and school-readiness skills and operate with a 4-to-1 student–teacher ratio to support individualized instruction.

Operations and family information

Small class sizes with a maximum of 16 children per classroom; classroom composition limits enrollments of up to six children with autism and typically between six and ten typically developing children.
Flexible scheduling with full- and half-day options and a July–June school year.
Families provide lunch; the school supplies snacks and operates as a peanut-free environment.
Admissions include an individual assessment; children do not need to be potty trained to enroll. Scholarship opportunities are available based on financial need and campus/classroom availability.
