Overview

Tinee Treasures provides early childhood education and daycare for children from infancy through preschool age. Programs are organized by age group and are presented as milestone-based, classroom-centered learning intended to support readiness for kindergarten.

Programs and curriculum

Classroom programs cover infants, toddlers, two-year-olds and preschoolers and address multiple developmental domains including approaches to learning, cognitive, language, physical, social-emotional and creative arts. Preschool classrooms include eight learning areas (art, block, dramatic play, math, music, science, reading and writing) and a STEM emphasis. Infant and toddler classrooms are arranged into activity centers such as movement, exploration, art & sensory, block, pretend and language areas.

Staffing, safety and facilities

Staff training and health checks: staff undergo background checks, a 90-day probation period, physical exam, TB test and drug test; staff hold CPR/First Aid and related certifications and participate in ongoing training.
Teacher–child ratios are stated by age group: Infants 1:4 (max 12), Toddlers 1:5 (max 15), Two-year-olds 1:8 (max 16), Preschool 1:10 (max 20).
Facility upkeep and safety: classrooms are ventilated and well lit, toys and equipment are cleaned regularly, the playground has shock-absorbing surfaces and a safety audit is conducted annually.
