The center provides scheduled weekend overnight respite on selected weekends for enrolled medically fragile children, after-school care options for school-age medically fragile children, and day services intended for young adults who previously attended pediatric day services. The centers provide morning and afternoon snacks but do not provide lunches.
After-school care for school-age medically fragile children, including organized activities and nursing support; attendance during scheduled school breaks and summer break is also offered.
Licensed nursing staff (RN, LVN, CNA) provide skilled nursing care including medication administration, respiratory treatments, tracheostomy care, enteral feedings and seizure monitoring; each medically fragile child receives a plan of care created by an RN Case Manager and signed by the child’s primary physician.
Classroom-based early education structured to meet developmental and medical needs, with individualized, developmentally appropriate curriculum for medically fragile infants, toddlers and preschool-aged children.
A multi-sensory therapeutic space designed to provide controlled sensory stimulation to help participants calm, focus and develop sensory skills.
Day services for medically fragile young adults aged 22 and over who previously attended a pediatric day health center, combining skilled nursing with a curriculum intended to support daily routine and engagement.
