Overview

Twinkling Stars Preschool provides classroom-based care and early learning for children from about 15 months to five years. Classrooms are organized by age group (Toddler, 2/3s and Preschool) and offer part- and full-time enrollment options.

Curriculum and enrichment

The program follows a professionally designed, theme-based curriculum with a new monthly focus. Enrichment offerings include weekly Spanish, music, dance and art classes; field trips and outdoor learning; and regular use of nearby Fellger and Hamlin Parks for outdoor play and education.

Daily care, meals and staff

Classroom ratios listed on program materials: Toddler 1:5; 2/3s 1:8; Preschool 1:10.
Breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack are provided by a local farm-to-table organic caterer; menus are provided to families and all food served is peanut free, with alternative options for dietary restrictions.
Lead teachers hold at least an associate degree in early childhood or a related field; staff training includes First Aid and CPR and a food handlers certificate. A mobile app is used to communicate with families and share daily moments.
