We Play We Learn

Overview

We Play We Learn is a nonprofit preschool program in Pacifica affiliated with Life Steps Foundation's Children and Family Services. It serves preschool-age children of varying abilities in small classes with a low student-to-teacher ratio.

Approach and curriculum

Instruction is organized around structured, play-based learning with an inclusion focus. The classroom uses visuals, props and other modifications to support different learning styles. Staff are described as qualified in early childhood and special education and provide individualized support.

Families and operations

Offers half-day and full-day scheduling options and 2-, 3- and 5-day attendance plans.
Tuition includes a daily snack; parents are asked to provide lunch and necessary diaper supplies.
Classroom is a peanut-free zone; a one-time non-refundable application fee applies and there are no tuition refunds for days absent.
