Overview

Weymouth Township School is a single-school public district serving students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. The school serves a small, rural community in the Pinelands and sends its high school students to Buena Regional High School through a sending/receiving arrangement.

Academics and curriculum

Instruction follows New Jersey standards across core and specialty areas. Curriculum materials and grade-level guides are maintained for each subject; published curriculum areas include:

Student support, programs and activities

The school emphasizes social and emotional supports alongside academics, guided by four pillars: respect, responsibility, readiness and safety. Staff provide differentiated instruction and flexible pathways, and the school offers extracurricular opportunities such as STEAM and Quiz Bowl. Published materials also include handbooks and plans for virtual instruction, transportation waivers, and a gifted-and-talented program.

Before- and after-school care

The district operates both Before School Care and After School Care programs for registered students. Published schedules show Before Care operating from 7:00am–8:20am and After Care from 2:55pm–5:30pm on regular weekdays, with exceptions on delayed openings, certain early-dismissal days and holiday-adjacent dates.
