Overview

Willow Tree Child Care & Dev Center provides full‑time care for children from infancy through pre‑kindergarten. Programs are organised into classroom groups for infants, toddlers, two‑ and three‑year‑olds, and preschool-aged children, and the centre emphasises parent–teacher partnership and family involvement.

Curriculum and approach

The centre uses Creative Curriculum as a foundation for planning and implements elements of the Reggio Emilia approach, including documentation and child portfolios. Classrooms are arranged into developmental learning areas and lesson planning blends teacher‑initiated activities with projects based on children’s interests.

Classroom learning areas include cognitive table activities, dramatic play, science and sensory tables, large motor play, music and movement, block play, and creative project tables.
Children have individual portfolios containing assessments, narrative notes, photo documentation and dated work samples.
Enrichment classes listed include music and Spanish.

Programs and daily routine
