The Winter Club of Lake Forest offers early childhood programs that run September through May and serve young children in mixed-age preschool and pre-kindergarten settings. Programs and schedule

Preschool — A two-year, mixed-age classroom for three-, four- and five-year-olds using a project-based approach with hands-on outdoor activities; includes skating and sledding during winter. Runs September through May, Monday through Friday 8:30am to 11:30am.
Kids Corner — Midday sessions for Winter Club preschool participants focused on cooperative play, independence and self-help skills; includes skating and sledding in winter. Session I: Sep - Dec 2026; Session II: Jan. - May 2027. Monday and Wednesday, 11:30am to 1:30pm.
Pre-Kindergarten — For preschoolers entering kindergarten the following year, with activities to develop pre-reading, number concepts, handwriting and fine motor skills through individual and small-group projects. Sep. 2026 through May 2027, Tuesday and Thursday 11:30am to 1:30pm.
