Woodside Elementary Preschool

Overview

Woodside Preschool operates on the Woodside Elementary School District campus and provides play-based early education for young children. The preschool is located on the same 16-acre campus that houses Woodside Elementary (TK–8).

Approach and offerings

The preschool runs play-based programs intended to stimulate curiosity, creative expression, and a developing sense of competence. The campus hosts a range of schoolwide offerings and activities that families can access, including PTA-run after-school enrichment classes and district after-school sports programs for school-age students.

The preschool is sited alongside district facilities and a recently constructed TK/K building and preschool playground are part of campus improvements.
The district maintains campus visitor policies (office sign-in and visitor badges) and posts rules prohibiting dogs and electric bikes/scooters on campus.
The district has communicated periodic campus closures for construction and renovations.
