Overview

Intensive Learning Center (ILC) is an elementary school in Lakewood that serves approximately 615 students and is part of the Bellflower Unified School District. The school emphasizes a diverse, student-centered learning environment and community partnerships.

Curriculum & Student Support

Instruction focuses on grade-level standards and includes strategies to develop bilingualism and biliteracy alongside college- and career-readiness practices across classrooms. Each student is provided with an individual Chromebook to support learning. The site includes a school counseling program that provides brief, solution-focused services and referral assistance for additional support when needed.

Facilities & Enrichment

Campus spaces include general classrooms, a multipurpose room, a music classroom, a library, a playground, and specialized instructional and intervention spaces.
